Why Vitthub

Built different. On purpose.

We built Vitthub because we were tired of slow, ad-cluttered, login-walled calculators that treat users as funnels.

Bank-grade accuracy

Every formula matches RBI, SEBI, and Income Tax Department standards. What we show is what your bank or CA will calculate.

100% private by design

Every calculation runs in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit your salary, loan, or investment details.

Fast, free, forever

No paywalls, no accounts, no "pro" upgrades. Just the tools you need, loaded in under a second.

A quick introduction

Why calculators matter for Indian families

Every major financial decision in India runs on the same few numbers: the EMI you can afford, the SIP you can sustain, the tax you actually pay, the salary that actually reaches your bank account. Get those four right and almost everything else — retirement planning, home buying, kids' education, insurance cover — follows naturally.

The problem is that these numbers live inside bank websites, tax calculators, and mutual fund portals that were designed to sell you something, not help you understand. Every field has a fine-print asterisk. Every result ends with "Open your account today." Vitthub takes the opposite approach: we strip the tools down to the math, show you exactly what the formula does, and let you go back to your regular day.

The four numbers every earner should know

In-hand salary— what actually lands in your bank account, after PF, gratuity, professional tax and TDS. If you've ever been surprised by your first paycheck, this is why. Use the Salary Calculator.

Your tax liability — under the new regime (default for FY 2026-27) or the old regime if your deductions exceed ₹3.75 lakh. Most salaried earners up to ₹12 lakh now pay zero tax thanks to the ₹60,000 rebate. Use the Income Tax Calculatoror the Old vs New Regime Comparison.

The EMI you can afford — banks will sanction up to 50-55% of your monthly income as combined EMIs, but prudent finance caps this at 40%. Check before you house-hunt. Use the EMI Affordability Calculator.

What a SIP becomes — the magic of compounding on monthly investments. A ₹10,000/month SIP at 12% return for 20 years becomes ₹1 crore; the same with a 10% annual step-up becomes ₹1.55 crore. Use the SIP Calculator.

Once you have these four numbers, you have the skeleton of a financial plan. Everything else is adjustment.

Questions?

Frequently asked

Everything people usually want to know before they dive in.

What is Vitthub?

Vitthub is a free finance hub for India with 40+ accurate calculators for EMI, SIP, income tax, salary, GST, FD, PPF, capital gains, retirement and more. Every calculation happens in your browser — we never receive, store, or share your financial data.

Is it really free? What is the catch?

Yes, fully free forever. Vitthub is ad-supported through Google AdSense. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, no hidden charges — just tools that work.

Do I need to create an account?

No. No sign-up, no login, no email required. Open any calculator, enter your numbers, and get results instantly. Your inputs never leave your device.

How accurate are the calculations?

Every formula matches RBI, SEBI, and Income Tax Department standards. The EMI we show is the EMI any RBI-regulated bank will charge. Tax calculations follow the latest Finance Act. Minor differences may come from bank-specific processing fees we do not include.

Is my salary and loan data safe?

Absolutely. Every calculator is client-side JavaScript — your inputs run inside your browser and are never transmitted to any server. Close the tab and the data is gone. No analytics events capture your specific numbers.

Are the tax slabs up to date for FY 2026-27?

Yes. Our income tax calculator is updated for FY 2026-27 (AY 2027-28) with the new regime as default — including the ₹60,000 rebate under Section 87A that makes income up to ₹12 lakh effectively tax-free for salaried employees.

Why should I use this instead of Groww, ClearTax, or BankBazaar?

Vitthub is purpose-built as a calculator site — faster, cleaner, ad-light, and privacy-first. The big fintechs treat calculators as a side feature to funnel you into their paid services; we are the service.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes, all calculators are mobile-optimised with proper number keyboards, touch-friendly sliders, and WhatsApp sharing. 80% of our users visit on mobile.

Can I get a PDF report of my calculation?

Yes, most calculators have a "Download PDF Report" button that exports a formatted page you can save, print, or forward — useful for sharing with your CA, spouse, or for your own records.

How often are the numbers updated?

Tax slabs are updated within 48 hours of any Budget or Finance Act change. Bank interest rates (for bank-specific pages) are refreshed monthly. Government scheme rates (PPF, NSC, SSY, SCSS) are updated at every quarterly review.
