Corrections log

Every correction ever made to a Vitthub calculator or article, logged in public. We fix errors within 72 hours of confirming them, and credit the reader who found it.

Our policy

Finance calculators should be right, and when they’re not, the fix should be public. Here’s how we handle errors:

  1. A reader emails help@vitthub.com with the page URL, the values they entered, and the result they expected — ideally with a screenshot.
  2. We verify against the primary source — tax department, central bank, statute, or equivalent — usually within 24 hours.
  3. If we’re wrong, we fix and deploy within 72 hours of confirmation.
  4. The correction is logged below: what was wrong, what’s now there, and who flagged it (with permission).
  5. We credit the reader — first name + city — unless they’d rather stay anonymous.

We don’t log typo fixes, cosmetic tweaks, or UI changes here — only things that would have affected a number a reader relied on.

The log

No corrections logged yet.

This is either a very good sign or a very bad sign. The site has been running since January 2025 and the site-wide review on Apr 2026didn’t turn up anything that affected a user-facing number. If you spot something that looks wrong, please email us — we’d rather fix it than pretend everything’s perfect.

Report an error

Email help@vitthub.com with:

  • The page URL
  • What you entered (so we can reproduce it)
  • What you got
  • What you expected (and where that expectation comes from — a bank statement, a tax slip, a government tool)

A screenshot helps. If you’d like to be credited when we fix it, say so in the email. Otherwise we’ll log the correction with “team review” as the reporter.
