TFSA is a Canadian account where contributions are after-tax but all growth and withdrawals are 100% tax-free forever. 2026 annual limit: $7,000. Lifetime cumulative room since 2009: ~$102,000 for anyone eligible since inception. Withdrawn amounts are restored as new room on January 1 of the following year.
