Whole-Life Insurance

Lifelong cover with cash value

🌍 UniversalReviewed Plain-English
Definition

What is Whole-Life Insurance?

Whole-life insurance covers you for life and builds a cash value over time that grows tax-deferred. Premiums are 5–15× higher than equivalent term cover. Returns on the cash value are typically 3–5% — far below equity — so "buy term, invest the difference" almost always wins financially.
