What is Tax Residency (UAE)?
The UAE has no personal income tax, so "tax residency" matters mainly for treaty purposes — proving UAE residency lets you avoid taxation elsewhere on non-UAE income. A Tax Residency Certificate is issued by the FTA after 183+ days in the country.
