What is PRSI?
PRSI is Ireland's social insurance — 4% on earnings above €352/week. Funds pensions, maternity benefit, illness benefit, jobseeker support. Class A (most employees) covers the full suite; self-employed Class S is narrower. Separate from USC (Universal Social Charge).
